Jewelry Care

How can I take care of my jewelry?

All jewelry is subject to wear and tear. Ultimately the life of the jewelry depends on the wearer.

Regular maintenance is essential for your jewelry's longevity. It is advised to have it professionally cleaned and checked every 6 months. We offer complimentary cleaning and inspection services for your jewelry. If you live outside our state, you can easily arrange for shipping at your expense.

An alternative option for maintaining a pristine condition of your jewelry is to acquire a small in-home ultrasonic cleaner, available for purchase in our store.

Email us at:

lena@jewelsbylubeck or if you have any other questions regarding your jewelry care!

What should I clean my jewelry with?

Combine a solution of one parts Mr. Clean (we use the yellow/lemon scented kind) and ten parts of distilled warm water and gently scrub with a soft toothbrush. Alternatively, you can use dawn dish soap and warm water.

If used every day, a small ultrasonic cleaner is a great way to keep your jewelry looking pristine.

How do I find my ring size?

The most accurate way to get your true ring size is to visit us or your local jeweler and ask for your US ring size.

Alternatively, we can send you a ring sizer kit if we are creating a custom piece together and you are out of state.

Please do not buy ring sizers online as many of these are poorly made and poorly calibrated!
