This pendant features a Tibetan Ga-Den Tangka coin mounted in 18k yellow gold suspended from a 14k yellow gold 30 inch rope chain.

Coin Details:
The Ga-Den Tangka dates from circa 1850 to 1948. The obverse features the Eight Auspicious Symbols (bkra shis rtags brgad) of Tibetan Buddhism including the umbrella of sovereignty, golden fish of good fortune, amphora of ambrosia, lotus, conch shell, emblem of endless rebirth, banner of victory, and wheel of empire - typically arranged around a central lotus. The reverse bears the Tibetan legend dga'-ldan pho-brang-phyod-las-rnam-rgyal (“The Palace of Ga-den is victorious in all directions”), inscribed within eight circular designs.
